El sur (The South)

Based on a story by Adelaida García Morales, the film gets into the transition from little girl to young girl of Estrella who, in that process, goes from the fascination with her father, a dowsing doctor, to the knowledge of his humanity and proximity to everyone, to many people. The film highlights the director's fascination with the world of cinema and had an immediate international recognition that confirmed his status as an author.
