On June 20 each year, the world commemorates World Refugee Day, a date on which people who have been forced to flee their homes are honored. To commemorate this day, the Cervantes Institute in Dublin invites you to attend this event, organized by the Embassy of Spain, in collaboration with the Spanish Counsellor Office of Labor, Migration and Social Security in the UK and Ireland, in which the guest speakers will present the reception systems for displaced Ukrainians that have been put in place in Spain and Ireland.
At this meeting, the European Commission and representatives from Spain, Ireland and the UNHCR Delegation in Ireland will share views and experiences in this vital issue.
The event will begin with the screening of a spot by UNHCR Spain.
Welcome words by his Excellency the Ambassador of Spain to Ireland, Ion de la Riva.
Moderator: Ken Thompson, Irish Diplomat.
