International Women's Day: Movement and word, with Laura Bruña and Mercedes Carbayo-Abengózar
València Dancing Forward. Laura Bruña
Celebrate with us this day with a videodance piece that combines movement and poetry. The non-profit association València Dancing Forward (VDF), co-directed by Laura Bruña, Joan Crespo and Elizabeth Taberner, along with 21 dancers from the Valencian dance sector present the poem “Una cien veces” (One hundred times) by renowned writer Elvira Sastre. A very clear message that advocates for diversity and unity in the voice of Gloria Núñez. An audiovisual that combines movement and word, recorded in the emblematic Main Theatre of València (Spain) to celebrate this International Women's Day and its role in the cultural sector.
Our two guests, Laura Bruña and Mercedes Carbayo-Abengózar, will talk about this unique creation, to tell us about the history of women and chat in a relaxed way about issues that concern, interest and excite us.
