To mark Europe Day on Monday May 9th, the EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture)Ireland Network is delighted to present a free screening at Alliance Française Dublin of its 2022 Short Shorts from Europe programme.
Action, comedy, animation, drama – expect this and more from Short Shorts from Europe Film Festival – a selection of European short films of 10 member countries of EUNIC Ireland, in which the Instituto Cervantes and AECID present the Spanish short film “El tratamiento” (The Treatment) by director Álvaro Carmona.
Let Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, and Spain entertain you with a variety of genres from contemporary, cutting-edge filmmakers. Cork International Film Festival and TUS Limerick School of Art and Design will also present short films from Ireland on the programme.

Álvaro Carmona (1984, Utrera) is a Spanish director, scriptwriter, musician, comedian and artist. Filmography: Clara (2013); short films: Ruleta (2015), Un mal trago (2015) and El tratamiento (2019); Tv show: Gente hablando (2018).
After the screening the audience will be asked to vote online for their favourite film.
