Mediterranean Croatia: A Blue Flower Interfilm Produkcija d.o.o., Zillion film

Our trip to the Mediterraneo stops at Croatia with the presentation of this film screening organised by the Embassy of Coratia in collaboration with the Spanish Embassy in Ireland, and the support of the Instituto Cervantes Dublin.

Synopsis: Middle-aged Mirjana is an employee at a thread factory in Zagreb. On the day of the celebration of her 20th anniversary of work, Mirjana's meetings and conversations with her relatives illuminate parts of her life: the one behind her, the one leading and the one yet to come. Blue flower is a film about a woman, a mother and a daughter, a film that awakens emotional associations and encourages us to take a look at within and make self-reflection.

A Blue Flower was screened at a number of European festivals as well as festivals in neighbouring countries. At the 68th Pula Film Festival, he was awarded the Great Golden Arena for the best film, and the director Ogresta won the Golden Arena for the best director, while Vanja Ciric was awarded the Golden Arena for the best female lead.
