The theatre club of the Instituto Cervantes resumes its activities in October. In this new session, the participants will improve their acting skills while working with texts in Spanish.
Alberto Conejero, Antonio Álamo, Manuel Olmedo and Pablo Messiez are some of the playwrights that the participants will have the opportunity to explore. Seeking to understand the human condition and its survival, especially in these times that we are living in, Sandra Villegas, the director of the Club, has chosen scenes from the works of the authors mentioned to discuss these issues.
In his work, Conejero presents us with an apocalyptic drama exploring the darkest part of the human soul. Álamo questions the importance of the human being on earth throughout the evolution of life. Olmedo, with his synthetic theatre, takes us to an illogical and unreal world and introduces us to the decadent human being. Messiez questions the reasons why we should get up every morning, ending up in a cynical tone.
The sessions will be one hour long on Tuesdays from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm and will run for 8 weeks.
