Cervantes Dublin Theater Club: Monologue Instituto Cervantes Dublín, Miriam Abuin

The drama club resumes its activities with a new season in which participants will have the opportunity to learn to write a theatrical monologue in Spanish and understand its characteristics and function, in order to present it to the public. 


During the workshop, the members of the club will learn vocal articulation techniques, variety of expression, emotional range and tone of voice, as well as body management techniques and movement in space. There will also be the chance to carry out theatrical improvisations with the aim of awakening emotions and feelings and learning to express them without fear in front of an audience on stage. Participants will read monologues by different writers in order to further understand the function of a monologue. 

At the end of the workshop each participant will present their monologue to the public.
