Cineclub date
Take part in the pilot edition of the virtual cineclub of the Cervantes Institute Library Network, an activity designed for the cinema and the Spanish lovers community. Our aim is to promote Spanish-speaking cinema and the work of emerging filmmakers, bringing the process of making a film closer to the audience.
In this pilot session, we will talk about the main themes explored in Elías L. Seminiani's film. “Map” follows an intimate and existential journey from different perspectives and points of view: from a relationship breakup to a trip to India in search of the meaning of life. The dynamic format, modern and, at the same time, introspective, makes this film a milestone in contemporary Spanish cinema.
This online activity will take place from November 19 to December 2, with the following meetings via live chat:
- November 23, at 4:30 p.m. with the filmmaker Noemí García Díaz
- November 30, at 4:30 p.m. with the director of the film, Elías L. Siminiani
The cineclub will be moderated by Marina Díaz López and María Toribio Aguirre.
Participation is available for library members through the virtual cineclub platform of the Instituto Cervantes Library.
