Come and discover the fascinating world of literary creation of the comic, at the hands of Marta Guerrero, comic artist and illustrator.

Aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 11 years old, this comic workshop will explore the basic concepts involved in creation: drawing the character (how to draw a face, gestures, personality, the body in motion etc.), and how to construct a story (location, time, how to introduce the characters, planning the storyline, the ending, etc.). And all whilst learning, practising, and enjoying our wonderful Spanish language!

With more than 20 years’ experience in the world of comics, Marta Guerrero has worked extensively with numerous magazines and comic books, and has created illustrations for textbooks such as La Baguette Magic and Rumbo a Rumanía. Recently, Marta has led workshops for the Instituto Cervantes in Toulouse, has participated in the touring exhibition “El cómic en la Democracia Española" promoted by the Instituto Cervantes, which has toured various countries, and has also been included in the exhibition by female artists "De Ellas" promoted by the Region of Murcia and the Women’s Institute of Murcia.
