As part of #ThinkLanguages, a celebration of languages and cultures for Transition Year (TY) students across Ireland, the Instituto Cervantes invites you to a cultural morning at our center in Dublin. Bring your students to our city-center building to discover new Spanish words and learn some steps of the famous flamenco dance. 


Our programme offers two engaging workshops: 

Spanish Language Workshop: This interactive session focuses on Spanish language and culture, helping students familiarize themselves with and build upon their prior knowledge. The content will be agreed upon in advance with the group's teacher to ensure it meets the students' specific interests and level. 

Flamenco Dance: In this fun and relaxed workshop with dancer Sandra Palomar, students will explore Spanish music and dance. They will learn dance steps through mobility exercises and build up to a traditional choreography known as Sevillanas. The students will also engage in rhythm games and exercises for laterality and coordination. Sandra will also introduce some of the most important traditional festivities in Spanish culture.
