Antes de la erupción

Human beings usually make friendships in their first years of life that tend to dissolve as they get older. This rite of passage towards maturity causes a first moment of nostalgia, in which becoming an adult implies leaving behind the territory of childhood. This short film brings us closer to one of these stories. Told in voiceover by one of the participants of a trip of five friends in the volcanic territory of Lanzarote island, the reflection on Em’s identity reveals that the search for new identities can happen with a certain melancholy, but without drama.
