Luz Sánchez-Mellado (Spain, 1966) is a writer and journalist. Since 1992 she has collaborated with the Spanish broadsheet El País, with the last column on Thursdays and the back cover column on Sundays. She is a regular collaborator with TVE (Spanish national broadcaster), magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar and radio shows such as La ventana in Cadena Ser. She is the author of Ciudadano Cortés (2009) and Estereotipas (2012), a collection of 50 female archetypes.
Arturo Fontaine Talavera (Chile, 1952) is a novelist, poet and essayist. He’s specialised in literature, art and political philosophy as well as aesthetics. He has published the poetry collections Nueva York (1976), Poemas hablados (1989), Tu nombre en vano (1995) and Mis ojos x tus ojos (2007) and is author of the novels Oír su voz (1992), Cuando éramos inmortales (1998) and La vida doble (2010).
Emilie Pine (Ireland, 1977) is Associate Professor of Modern Drama at University College Dublin. She has published widely as an academic and critic on Ireland, memory and performance. Emilie is Editor of the Irish University Review and Director of the Irish Memory Studies Network. Notes to Self is her first collection of personal essays, published by Tramp Press.
Bill Richardson (Ireland, 1953) is Professor and Head of the Spanish Department at the National University of Ireland Galway. He has published books and articles on Spanish culture and society, linguistics, translation and Spanish and Latin American literature, as well as occasional individual poems, and has a special interest in the classic Argentinean author Jorge Luis Borges and in issues relating to spatiality in literature.
