XVI Biennial Conference at University of Illinois Chicago: The Poetic Function, Then and Now: Versions and Inversions of Early Modern Hispanic Poetry
SRBHP members are invited to submit proposals for individual presentations, panels, or roundtables. Languages for the conference are English and Spanish.
The Society for Renaissance and Baroque Hispanic Poetry (SRBHP) invites proposals for individual presentations, complete panels, and round tables for its sixteenth biennial conference. Under the presidency of Felipe Valencia (Utah State University) and organized by Rosilie Hernández (University of Illinois Chicago) and Anne J. Cruz (University of Miami), the conference will take place from 27-29 September 2023 on the campus of the University of Illinois, Chicago.
The deadline for submissions is Saturday, 10 June 2023. Confirmations of acceptance will be emailed by early July 2023. The conference will be in-person only. All participants must join the Society as members at the time of conference registration; membership includes subscription to its premier journal, Calíope.
