Tic Tac Toe is a piece that carries us back to a place where the existence of the game Tic Tac Toe was our greatest satisfaction. With only pencil and paper we play in search of victory. We will reflect on the game, the ambition, and the strategy, with the intent of improving our best flamenco styles.

Tic Tac Toe is a flamenco spectacle, where the objective is the win the match. You will witness styles of dance known as soleá, caña, seguiriya, tango, and fandango, among others. Each match in the game comprises song, guitar, and dance, parts spread between a dancer, guitarist, and two singers. The musical composition is the realization of Daniel Yagüe, with the voices of Desiree Paredes and Pablo Oliva. The original idea together with the choreography was birthed by Juan Carlos Avecilla. The duration of the performance will be approximately one hour.

The choreography of Tic Tac Toe won the “Solo Mode” Contest Bracket in the 2016 Madrid Spanish and Flamenco Dance Competition, held at the Teatro Fernán Gómez.
