Sandra Antongiorgi
An accomplished musician and visual artist, Puerto Rican born Sandra Antongiorgi's unique sound derives from a marriage of musical influences including Caribbean, rumba, jazz, soul, rock, and neo-soul. She headlined at City Winery Chicago's first ever female-fronted Latin music concert; opened and performed with gifted Jazz/Blues/Soul/Gospel singer Lizz Wright; opened for Alfonso Ponticelli, and was selected as Music Artist-in-Residence at MACLA (Movimiento De Arte y Cultura Latino Americana) in San Jose, California, headlining three consecutive concerts. Sandra's recent collaboration with Chicago-based One City Films resulted in a Spanish rock version of “America, the Beautiful,” (“America, La Hermosa”), which she translated and sang for the soundtrack of their new documentary, "F*** Your Hair". She released her self-titled Spanish EP in 2018 and is currently working on releasing more music.
