Pa negre (Black Bread)

In the hard years of postwar rural Catalonia, Andreu, a child belonguing to the side of the loosers, finds in the forest the death bodies of a man and his son. The authorities want to charge these deaths to his father and the child will try to find out who the real perpetrators are. On this tour, Andreu will develop a moral conscience in the adults' world fed by lies. To survive, he will betray his own roots and will end up discovering the monster that inhabits in himself.
