Birds Flying East / Pájaros

In this unconventional buddy road dramedy, keen birdwatcher and attorney Mario enlists washed-up rock musician-turned-mechanic to chauffeur him to Costa Brava in search of the migrating cranes. When it is clear that the "birds" have taken flight, the 50-something odd couple set a new course for the Danube River Delta, crossing Italy, Slovenia, Romania, and Hungary, in what becomes a life-altering journey humming with romance, reflection, and, ultimately, catharsis.
