«Cuerp@s mediad@s» is the title of the program that by Samuel Retortillo, director of the Festival Internacional de Cine, Danza y Nuevos Medios (FIVER) has curated this year for the dance exhibition presented as part of the Baila España 2022 Festival.
The cycle is made up of four works by Ibero-American creators, two of which are being exhibited as world premieres, the result of the relationship, dialogues and actions of FIVER's network of collaborators.
In the four works -which include animation, audiovisual performance, dance or choreographic documentary tools- bodies are used as transmitting structures and narrative bases from different forms, areas and genres to compose works and bodies mediated by the camera, the screen and the audiovisual language.
The short films show the importance of the Fiverlabs or the research and audiovisual production residencies, and other actions that FIVER carries out and its alliances with other festivals and organizations.
