Closing the acts of honor to the poet from Alicante in the 75th anniversary of his death, this exhibition offers a global portrait of the writer through a journey and his universe, providing the essential keys of his life and work, focusing on the young man who made poetry his creed. ‘Miguel Hernández, a plena luz” includes half a hundred original pieces from this poet's legacy, including several handwritten letters with authors such as Pablo Neruda, Juan Ramón Jiménez, Lorca or Ramón Sijé, in addition to those he sent to his wife, Josefina Manresa, mainly during the Civil War and his time in prison. The exhibition travels from the poet's childhood to his education and literary influences, from his political commitment to his participation during the Civil War, from his link to religion to his sentimental life, from his time in prison to his death and from there to the literary and social heritage that he has left.
