In this workshop, based on the works of writers such as Amparo Dávila, Pascal Quignard, Juan Rulfo, and Lidia Cabrera, we will explore concepts like “the grotesque” or “the uncanny,” and themes like perception, consciousness, and psychic-physical transformations linked to the psychology of our characters and/or lyrical subjects. We will also delve into the therapeutic potential of writing as a repository for our personal fears.
General objective:
To investigate personal fears and attribute them to a character and/or lyrical subject during a short narrative developed throughout the workshop.
Materials:
Notebook or writing materials.
Requirements:
Participants who can write and communicate in Spanish and are interested in addressing sensitive topics such as death from non-hegemonic cultural perspectives.
Duration: 1 session of 100 minutes.
