Magma
Carla AndradeCarla Andrade is an artist who focuses her work on photography, painting and experimental cinema. With Magma, he presents an audiovisual piece that invites us to reflect on the timeless and the cyclical, in which movement, light and color, together with the very remarkable music of the Canadian composer Jonathan Kawchuk, create a dialogue of singular beauty. Synopsis: Drops of fire that create a universe of magmatic asteroids. Liquid and gravitational reality. Cosmic energy. Atomized rhythm. Neurons of a liberated unconscious. Elimination of the idea of soul as everything, reducing it to the condition of energy units in perpetual process, elementary particles, without duration, that arise in perfect dependence. The self as a stream of units of force in incessant becoming that provides the illusion of an entity. Karmic chain. Idea that eternity resides in the transitory, the eternal belongs to the instant. Eternity not as infinite duration but as an absence of temporality. A mobile, processual, relational and interactive universe of everything that exists. Here the object is conceived as something that is being constituted, completed, lost and recovered with the vibratory rhythm of a universe in constant production.
