Call To School

Carme Nogueira is a multidisciplinary artist, researcher, and teacher with extensive experience both in the creative and academic fields, who, for Call to the School, recovers school files and testimonies of children who attended the public school in Las Hurdes at the beginning of the 30s Noguera interrelates them with a passage from Luis Buñuel's documentary Las Hurdes: land without bread; (1933), as well as with drawings of the children of a school today, generating with all this an audiovisual proposal of great strength and sensitivity.
