La voz humana

La voz humana Richard "Lord Comepiña" Borges

“The human voice” written in 1930 by the French playwright Jean Cocteau. It is a play about the power of love; love as absolute surrender, as disease or as madness. The broken heart of a woman who keeps hope beating in the face of the inevitable and is expressed in the middle of a daily event and without apparent relief: a call she has with her ex-partner, which represents a farewell.

Teatro en el Cuarto is an avant-garde proposal that arises from exile and the lack of opportunities to insert immigrants within the marquees of forums and theaters, a group of foreign artists in search of spaces to carry out the staging. That is why they decide to present their scenic proposal in unconventional spaces.
