LA BANDA MORISCA is a group of passionate musicians who have founded or been involved in
numerous musical adventures with some of the most remarkable bands from the
“World Music” and traditional Spanish music circuits.  Now they are fusing their original and creative view of a traditional repertoire of music with oriental and occidental influences from the South Mediterranean (Muwashahas, Chaabi, Dahmane el Harachi and Nass el Ghiwane) as well as the mood of the traditional flamenco from Jerez and Andalusian (Lole &
Manuel, El Chozas, and Triana).

They have two CD´s: La Banda Morisca (2013) and Algarabya (Fol Música, 2016). They are currently touring internationally for their second album, Algarabya.

In the last two years they´ve been performed on remarkable stages like SXSW (Austin), the Flamenco Festival (New York), Small World Music Festival (Toronto), World Arab Festival (Montrèal), New England Conservatory (Boston), Old Town of Folk Music (Chicago), International Festival of Merzouga (Marruecos), World Arab Institute (París), Festival of Mestizo Music Festival (Angoulême), Expo Astaná 2017 (Kazajistán), Sharq Taronalari Festival (Uzbekistán).  They are currently working on their third album.
