The 26th Chicago European Union Film Festival

This year’s Chicago European Union Film Festival (CEUFF) is a celebration of emerging voices and a showcase of provocative perspectives. Our lineup - all Chicago festival premieres - includes debut features; award-winners from international film festivals including Berlin, Locarno, Sundance, and Toronto; and new films from CEUFF alumni.

The program is also an evolution, as we recognize and embrace our porous borders and our global citizenry. As we continually endeavor to present the best of cinema on our screens, we offer a thoughtfully curated program that kicks off with an evening co-hosted by the Film Center and the Honorary Consulate of Sweden, which holds the current Presidency of the Council of the European Union. We welcome you to country hop with us all March long. Regardless of the country of origin, every film in the 26th Chicago European Union Film Festival has been chosen for you, our Chicago audience.
