Equipo D: los códigos olvidados

Equipo D: los códigos olvidados Manuel Fraile

World War II is probably one of the conflicts that has best generated its own imagery through cinema. The various genres, such as crime films, thriller and even experimental or auteur films, have drawn a map of the complexity of this conflict. However, the story of cryptographers who deciphered the secret codes of both sides remained untold: Jorge Laplace's documentary brings it closer to us, paying significant attention to the Spanish role in this subplot of the war.

Synopsis: During World War II, a secret battle was fought to decipher the Nazi codes emitted by the Enigma machine: a chess match between the most brilliant minds of the time whose outcome was vital to resolve the greatest war conflict of the 20th century and the fate of Europe. In this exciting fight, the role of Team D, made up of Spanish Republicans in exile, was as decisive as it was unknown.
