Drawing Contest for Children-Chicago
The theme of this year’s contest is Chicago. CervantesKids is organizing a drawing contest to celebrate the city of Chicago and the differing ways that students perceive the city. We are looking for an original drawing that depicts anything related to the city. Each drawing must be accompanied by a title. Participant and Age Categories Information Winners Award ceremony
We encourage all of our CervantesKids students to participate. There are two age categories:
● Ages 4-7
● Ages 8-14
Teachers will dedicate one of the sessions to Chicago, and different spaces and elements of the city. Students will also receive information about the drawing contest and will have the opportunity to work on their drawings in class. The drawings will be collected no later than March 3 rd and will be displayed at Instituto Cervantes.
The CervantesKids students will decide the best drawings – all classes will have the opportunity to view the drawings and will vote for the ones they feel are the best. Three finalists will be selected for each age category, one of whom will have been voted as the winner. Each finalist will receive a
certificate of recognition and a small prize. Each winner will receive a certificate of recognition and a book. All participants will receive a certificate of participation and a small gift.
The winners will be announced at our Winter Celebration on March 31 st , 2018. The prizes and certificates will be handed out during the celebration.
