Comala Lives: Mexican Literature and Tradition on the Day of the Dead
The Instituto Cervantes of Chicago, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Mexico in Chicago and UNAM Chicago, cordially invites the public to join the 2025 Day of the Dead Celebration, a special program dedicated to honoring one of the most significant expressions of Mexico’s intangible cultural heritage.Through film, gastronomy, art workshops, and literature, this multidisciplinary initiative aims to bring audiences of all ages closer to the symbols, colors, flavors, and meanings that make the Day of the Dead a unique tradition, deeply rooted in collective memory.
