Science ECUSA & Cervantes
Science ECUSA & Cervantes is a program for the promotion of scientific and technological culture, organized by the Cervantes Institute and ECUSA (Spanish Scientists in the U.S.), and composed of a series of monthly meetings that deal with current topics and of high scientific or technological interest presented in a didactic and affordable way for the general public, and with the vocation of bringing to society the latest advances and developments in science. ECUSA is an association formed and directed by Spanish scientists and professionals of science and technology who mostly carry out their professional work in the US, and who dedicate their time voluntarily to bring science closer to society. It is an open, democratic, plural, participatory and independent association in which all kinds of ideologies and opinions coexist and are respected, and whose nature is 100% apolitical and apartidist. ECUSA, like other similar associations of scientists abroad, arises exclusively in response to the needs of the large Spanish scientific community residing in the USA.
