The international jury, made up of renowned creators, playwrights, scholars, and advocates of Hispanic theater—Egla Hassan, Sonia Chocrón, Indira Páez, Belén Galain, Neher Jacqueline Briceño, and Rebeca Alemán—has selected the award-winning works for the quality and innovation of their dramatic proposals linked to human rights. These works elevate and expand the presence of women’s narratives, highlighting the commitment of theater written by women to the challenges of our time.

Synopsis: In a desert in the year 2025, two siblings—a twelve-year-old girl and a nine-year-old boy—walk on the run from the drought that has erased their village. On their journey, they encounter violence, abuse, deception, and loss, but also hope and friendship.
