Intercontinental Biennial of Indigenous Art
The traveling gallery of the Intercontinental Biennial of Indigenous Art brings together artistic, humane works by a variety of indigenous artists and groups that, from a space of anonymity or silence, offer up original pieces, which are often penetrated by magic, chromaticism or, also, perhaps, determined by pain, anger, discord and insurgency. Participating artists: Mónica Alvarado (Argentina), Dora Parentes (Brazil), Amaru Chiza (Ecuador), Gustavo Toaquiza Ugsha (Ecuador), Inty Muenala (Ecuador), Chadi Adib Salama (Egypt), Jairo Hernández Bustos (Colombia), Colectivo Mexicano (Mexico), Herbert Dante Calumani Blanco (Peru), Enrique Muñante (Peru), Robert Ancari Soleri (Peru), etc. Opening reception: Wednesday, May 22, 6pm
