18th Annual Cervantes Symposium Juan de Jauregui y Aguilar (c.1566-1641)

Chicago’s 18th Annual Cervantes Symposium provides scholar through the United States a forum to share and discuss emerging research in the field of Cervantes studies. The event will include a keynote lecture, eight scholarly talks and a Newberry Collection presentation. The talks incorporate innovative approaches to Cervantes’s works, such as disability studies, cognitive methodologies, audible cultural practices, consumers of texts, animal language, pedagogy, rhetoric of emotions, opera, and violent communication.
