Ramadan Nights with Alaa Shaheen
Renowned Jordanian oud player and composer Alaa Shaheen will star the Ramadan Nights organized by Instituto Cervantes in Amman. Shaheen will interpret a recital of oriental and occidental oud pieces.
Shaheen graduated from the Arab Oud House in 2003 as Oud Soloist, and he was trained by the Iraqi artist Naseer Shamma (one of the best Oud player in the Arab world).
Alaa Shaheen is the founder of the Music Group Awtar, and The House of Arabic Oud in Jordan. He has participated in numerous music events and festivals in Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco and Italy.
