My best enemy
On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Treaty of Friendship between Chile and Argentina, we proudly present "My Best Enemy", a Chilean-Argentine-Spanish film directed by Alex Bowen and released on May 5, 2005.
The story is based on the Beagle conflict between Chile and Argentina in December 1978. The film criticizes a conflict that was considered unnecessary between two neighboring countries and the subsequent abandonment of the soldiers at the end of the conflict. The film won the Silver Pudú for the best Chilean film at the Valdivia International Film Festival in 2005.
