Memory vs oblivion, at the Celebration of Comics Art in Jordan

The Instituto Cervantes in Amman and the Embassy of Spain in Jordan, in collaboration with EUNIC-Jordan, the Delegation of the European Union in Jordan, the Embassy of France, the Belgian Embassy in Jordan and F.A.D.A. 317 Art Gallery, present a Celebration of Comics Art in Jordan.

The program includes an online talk panel with Spanish artist Paco Roca about his long career as a cartoonist and illustrator and an exhibition displaying a wide selection of the artist’s main artworks.

Comments: The exhibition will be held in person at the Centre. The opening will be on November 22 and will remain open to the public until February 2, 2021. Attendance at the opening will be by exclusive personal invitation. In accordance with the COVID-19 Prevention Protocol imposed by the local authorities, people who wish to visit the exhibition should follow those security measures: control of body temperature at the entrance, and, in the case of exceeding 37.5 degrees, inability to access, social distancing of at least 2 meters, use of a mask during the entire period of the visit, and disinfection of hands with sanitary gel. The talk with Paco Roca will be held online on November 29.
