Live to tell it
Luis Landero, one of the greatest narrators of the Spanish contemporary literature, author of numerous novels and winner of several awards, including the National Prize for Literature, will give an online discussion where he will share with the friends, library users and students of the Instituto Cervantes his knowledge and allowing, therefore, the participants to exchange ideas and points of view with a Spanish writer of utmost importance.
Moderated by Juan Vicente Piqueras, poet and director of the Instituto Cervantes in Amman, the talk will focus on many topics such as the human need to tell stories and listen to them, how stories influence in defining the nature of humans, how stories are passed through generations, etc.
Why do we read, why do we write? Why? What need do we have? Is it that the objective reality doesn’t satisfy us and we have to continually escape into an imaginary life?, those are some of the many queries to be questioned and answered…
