Engravers for Peace

Engravers for Peace Taller de Grabado del Cabildo de Gran Canaria

Engravers for Peace is an international exhibition featuring distinguished artists from the Canary Islands, the Mediterranean coast, and Jordan. United by the art of engraving, these artists advocate for transcending cultural, religious, linguistic, and ideological boundaries.

Fifty-three artists from Spain, Jordan, the United Kingdom, Austria, Russia, Palestine, Tunisia, and Egypt will take part in the exhibition Engravers for Peace, sharing their work across a rich tapestry of cultures, nations, and civilizations. Their art will journey through the Mediterranean Sea—a historic crossroads once sailed by Phoenicians, Romans, and Arabs—bridging time and heritage in pursuit of peace.

Jordan’s strategic location, bridging East and West, and its longstanding friendship with Spain, make it a fitting host for this initiative promoting dialogue and unity through art.
