Expressions of Arabic Architecture in Mexico

30 photographic artworks by Mexican artist Rocío Laureano will be displayed at Instituto Cervantes. The exhibition reflects the influence of the Arabic Architecture in Mexico.

Originally from Mexico City, Rocio Laureano is passionate about photography. Through her work she portrays moments with the aim of transmitting the emotions she feels when capturing the images.

Between 2009 and 2012, the artist consolidates her professional interest in photography, arising from her trips to Argentina, Germany and Egypt; Since then, her photographic activity has been continuous. In 2018, her work "Expressions of Arabic Architecture in Mexico" was exhibited at the Instituto Cervantes in Cairo, Egypt.
