From Rome to Islam: two decades of research and intervention in the Umayyad ‎archaeological heritage of Jordan and Palestine

Dr. Ignacio Arce, architect and archaeologist‎, Associate Professor in the Faculty of Architecture ‎at the ‎German-Jordanian University, Director of the Spanish Archaeological Mission in ‎the ‎Amman Citadel and the Desert Castles, will present the projects of excavation, research and ‎restoration carried out by the Spanish Archaeological Mission during the last two decades under ‎his leadership in Jordan and Palestine and its contribution to the conservation and enhancement ‎of Jordan's cultural heritage.‎‎
