World Book Day

Instituto Cervantes in Amman joins the celebrations of the World Book Day by participating in the XXI Continuous ‎Reading of Don Quijote. Various renowned Jordanian people will read in direct ‎connection through videoconference with the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.  

Other activities will be held with this occasion during two days: a Bibliographic exhibition about Don Quijote, a Book and a Rose; free Books market; storytelling session for children; and an exhibition entitled: Cervantes (Don Quijote) Forges, a dialogue through the ages, and a Lecture in Spanish entitled: Cervantes and the translation of the figurative sense in Don Quijote by Hiam Sayed Espinar.
