Cervantes (Don Quijote) Forges, a dialogue through the ages desconocido

Organized within the activities held with the occasion of the World Book Day, the exhibition: Cervantes (Don Quijote) Forges, a dialogue through the ages, shows the artist's original vision towards the myths of Don Quijote and Cervantes and his particular understanding of the current world, through themes such as the life of Cervantes, the writing of Don Quijote, the reflections of Sancho Panza and the adventures of both characters.  

Antonio Fraguas 'Forges', is a graphic comedian, writer, cinema and television director, and Radio collaborator. Ever since the artist began his career as a graphic humorist in the written press, he was keen to work on the figures of Cervantes, Don Quijote and Sancho.  

Forges has been awarded with the following honors: Gold Medal of Merit at Work in 2007; Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts in 2011, Premios Ondas Mediterráneas in 2011. International Award Quevedos 2014 to a lifetime of graphic humor. He is also Doctor Honoris Causa by the University Miguel Hernández, of Elche, in 2014.
