Spanish dance workshops Katerina Albertini Voulgari

The Spanish Dance Society in Jordan and Instituto Cervantes in Amman offer a Flamenco dance workshop by the Flamenco teacher Katerina Albertini Voulgari. The workshop, which will take place at the Instituto Cervantes in Amman, will focus on the following techniques: position and coordination of feet, arms, body, twists, swaying movements, and tap dance (zapateados); the creation of simple choreographies; and use of castanets practices. 


Katerina Albertini Voulgari is a Flamenco dancer, choreographer and teacher. She also organized the “Spanish Dance Society” in Turkey. 

She started her career in Athens at Dianna Theodoridou’s and Katia Savrami’s professional dance schools and completed her studies in Spain (Madrid, Sevilla, Jerez de la Frontera) attending courses and seminars by famous dancers and Spanish culture teachers in several schools, such as Amor de Dios, La Unión, and Centro de Baile Jerez. 

In 2006, she created her flamenco group «Alma Gitana», acting since that year in different cities throughout Greece. In addition, she has hosted flamenco dance performances in big theatres and musical stages in the United States, Russia, China, and Georgia, collaborating with renowned singers and musicians.
