Living is Easy with Eyes Closed Vivir es fácil con los ojos cerrados

Living Is Easy with Eyes Closed (Spanish: Vivir es fácil con los ojos cerrados) is a 2013 Spanish comedy-drama film written and directed by David Trueba, and starring Javier Cámara. The film's title comes from a line in the Beatles song "Strawberry Fields Forever".

The film is set in Spain in 1966.  English teacher and die-hard Beatles fan, Antonio, decides to go on a road trip to Almería in the hope of meeting John Lennon, who is shooting the film ¨How I Won the War¨. On the way he picks up two hitch-hikers, Juanjo (Francesc Colomer) and Belén (Natalia de Molina), and the unlikely trio follow their dreams and look for their own freedom.

This film won six Goya Awards, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Original Writing and Best Leading Actor. It was selected as the Spanish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards, but was not nominated.
