Una quinta portuguesa

Fernando is a geography teacher with a quiet and orderly life. One day, his wife disappears.

When he discovers that she has left him and returned to her country, Serbia, Fernando is devastated. Cheerless and bewildered, he decides to leave everything and go anywhere.

On the journey he meets a gardener who is on his way to work on a Portuguese villa. When the gardener dies unexpectedly, Fernando, without thinking too much, impersonates him and presents himself as the new gardener.

Amália, the enigmatic owner, observes him with curiosity and suspicion, but still lets him stay. From then on, they gradually build a beautiful friendship. Little by little, Fernando takes possession of a life that does not belong to him. Or perhaps it does.
