Rodilla

One of the thematic lines that has run through Juanjo Giménez's cinema is dedicated to soccer. In addition to Rodilla, his shorts Libre indirecto (1997) and Máxima pena (2005) bring us closer to this world, whose passion is not so much in the big leagues and championships, but in the emotional universe that cinema is for many people. Synopsis: A middle-aged man sees by chance the legendary soccer player Rodilla working as a cab driver. Remembering his childhood, he rummages through his old album of stickers from the 73/74 season and discovers that the only one missing is his own. From that moment on, he will try to find it at any price.
