Nos hacemos falta
José Luis AntuñaJuanjo Giménez's debut feature film deals with the encounter between different characters in a peculiar road-movie. Supported by the good work of several of the fetish actors of its creator, this story of antiheroes does not belie the humanist bet that announces its title. Synopsis: A recently discovered eight-year-old brother, a bald and perverse colleague, a truck with a clandestine cargo in which to travel through the desert, and a girlfriend who never shows up anywhere: all that and a pinball in which the lack we all miss sparkles and which unites the characters -all of them orphans, and some of them in more than one way- who swarm around this feature film. Orphanhood ends up permeating the film itself, which, of course, never loses that certain point between ironic and sardonic, like someone who laughs at his own bad luck.
