The impossibility of representing a reality that is not one's own, without falling into distance or detachment, leads the author to a backward flight in which she reflects on the foundations of identity in order to find the reasons that push her to look far away, as if it were a condemnation.
Synopsis: Ningún río me protexe de min takes as its starting point the mysterious theft of a material filmed in the Central African Republic, inside the forest of the Congo Basin, as a response to the conflicts arising from the fragile and transubjective encounter with the not-self: an encounter that can only be practiced or experienced, because if it is virtualized, it ceases to exist.
