Fernando Fernán-Gómez's directorial debut came with this film, which reworks several stories from different sources about the world of the sick confined in psychiatric institutions. It is a peculiar debut in which the acting work and the sophisticated play of a comedy that dialogues with the intelligent entanglement, in addition to the costumbrist elements, make its viewing a joyful experience. Synopsis: Carlos goes to visit his girlfriend Juana at the psychiatric hospital where she works. Once there, the director introduces them to his niece, who is obsessed with playing the harp continuously, and to a nurse who repeats word for word what Carlos says.
