The queen of the lizards

Belonging to the comedic lineage of La hora chanante and seasoned in the world of webseries, Burnin' Percebes -Fernando Martínez and Juan González- have been writing the subway history of Spanish cinema for a decade with a filmography made from scratch. La reina de los lagartos is their latest feature film, shot in super8.

Its plot introduces us to Berta and Javi, a couple who say goodbye after a summer relationship. The problem begins when, despite waiting patiently in a random place, the spaceship that was supposed to pick up the prince of an alien race of lizards does not appear and Javi, crestfallen, returns home with Berta.
