Book Fair

Booksellers from all over Albuquerque will participate in the centerpiece activity of Día del Libro, our Book Fair, which will take place on the Plaza Mayor from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. During the event, booksellers such as Page 1 Books, Books on the Bosque, and Burque Books will offer new and used books in Spanish, English, and other languages at discount. In addition, the first 50 book-buyers will receive a rose commemorating their purchase. Apart from booksellers, the Book Fair will also include book publishers, such as Read Or Green Books and Chicharra Poetry, as well as important non-profit representatives and Día del Libro sponsors. In the afternoon, the Book Fair will include a special literacy-promotion event in collaboration with the Consulate General of Mexico in Albuquerque.
